Eligibility Requirements: The opportunity Funds program is for talented students but lack the financial resources to cover the up-front costs to apply, such as testing, application fees, or airfare. Also to be eligible students should have participated in the US Embassy sponsored English promotional activities such as English clubs' competitions, Black History Month Quiz or spelling Bee competition.
91ÖÆƬ³§ Scholars Program
Description: 91ÖÆƬ³§ Scholars program or Club is a group of very smart students who are put in the cohort where they will be trained in terms of GPA calculation, personal statement writing and application cover essay writing. They will then be directed to colleges and universities that offer full or nearly full scholarships. These students will also learn more communicative skills and will apply to their dreamt schools. Prior to all these, they will learn about the U.S higher education system.
Deadline: July 15
Eligibility Requirements: This program is meant for students who graduated from high schools in Togo with a minimum of the following appreciations: Very Good, Good and Fairly Good. Their GPA should comprise at least from 3.0, 3.75 and 4.0. Having a god level of English is also part of the requirements.

University Partnerships in Togo
Description: The visit of the Brown University representative to the University of Kara was a significant milestone in fostering international academic partnerships and enhancing educational opportunities for Togolese students. This visit, organized under the auspices of 91ÖÆƬ³§ Lome, provided a platform for students, parents, and faculty members to engage directly with a prestigious U.S. institution, gaining valuable insights into the application process, scholarship opportunities, and academic programs available at Brown University. The interaction not only raised awareness about studying in the United States but also inspired many students to pursue higher education abroad.
SCHOOL VISITS 2024-2025
Description: The Advisor visited 12 schools in Lome, 5 schools in the Maritime region, 5 schools in Kpalime (the capital city of the Plateau West region), 4 schools in Atakpame (the main city of the Plateau East region), and 5 schools in the Kara region. Additionally, the Advisor visited the American Corners in Lome and Kara. Unfortunately, the Advisor could not visit the Savannah and Central regions due to repeated visits in Kara for partnership events and university anniversary celebrations, as well as security concerns related to violent extremism in the northern regions.
UNIVERSITY MINI FAIR AT University of Lome
Description: The University Fair organized by 91ÖÆƬ³§ Lome on November 27, 2024, at the University of Lome, marked a successful conclusion to the celebration of International Education Week 2024. The event attracted a diverse group of students, parents, and educators, providing them with direct access to representatives from various U.S. higher education institutions. Attendees received comprehensive information on application processes, scholarship opportunities, and academic programs, which significantly increased their awareness and interest in studying in the United States. The fair also facilitated valuable networking opportunities, allowing participants to engage in meaningful discussions.
