The grants are created in collaboration with specific graduate schools and divisions at a number of renowned universities in the USA: University of Chicago, Columbia University, New York University and University of Pittsburgh. All grant amounts are $12,500 as well as a partial or full reduction of the tuition. It is possible to apply for the grants even before the final agreement has been made with the American host institution, however, a letter of admission should be submitted as soon as the student receives it. The study period must be at least one academic year, and the grants are only awarded to people with Danish citizenship.
