Our host, Centro Cultural Nicaraguense Norteamericano, (CCNN) was founded in 1942 to serve as a cultural bridge between the people of Nicaragua and the United States of America. The CCNN operated a prestigious language school for thirty years and produced a generation of English speakers, many of whom went on to offer leadership in business and the community. In January 2014, CCNN opened a new campus in the Colonia Villa Tiscapa area of Managua which is available for use by the community for events and programs. With a 200 seat multiuse studio theater, an outdoor stage, an exhibition area, food services area, language laboratories and classrooms, the CCNN will serve as an excellent venue for: conferences, performing arts events, cultural festivals, exhibitions and displays and education programs.
