The 91ÖÆƬ³§ center actively promotes U.S. higher education in Oman for prospective students by offering accurate, unbiased, comprehensive, objective and timely information about educational institutions in the United States and guidance to qualified individuals on how best to access those opportunities.
The 91ÖÆƬ³§ office is based at the U.S. Embassy, Muscat. The 91ÖÆƬ³§ adviser offers presentations and conducts outreach about studying in the U.S., provides support during the college search and application process, conducts in-person and virtual meetings with university recruiters, and networks with U.S. graduates returning home. 91ÖÆƬ³§ serves as an excellent resource for Omanis and expatriates seeking to study in the United States.

Oman Government Scholarship Program - Undergraduate
Description: In June 2010, a Royal Directive announced an increase of 1,500 external scholarships for undergraduate programs at selected overseas HEIs, however only 500 of them will be distributed to students wishing to study in the USA. www.heac.gov.om

National Program for Post Graduate Studies
Description: This program aims to rehabilitate national cadres in the Sultanate of Oman, to enable applicants to obtain higher academic experience. Last year, 2016/2017 the number of the scholarships for each degree Master (111), PhD (39) and Medical programs (59).

GHEDEX – Global Higher Education Exhibition 2018
Description: The 19th edition of Global Higher Education Exhibition will take place from 14 – 16 April 2019 at newly built Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. It’s an annual event which is held under the patronage of Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). Last edition of GHEDEX attracted over 25000 visitors, over 200 top-notch universities and colleges from over 25 countries participated with 170 educational bodies and institutions accounting for international participation and 30 for local participation.
